Primary selection criteria is for cultivars that actually grow well in the places resided in by our partners & contractors.

Secondary criteria, is any candidate where ‘YES’ is the answer any of these questions:

• Will this cultivar clone easily, enabling the swift population of other R&D gardens, or community gardens, or urban guerilla gardens?
• Does this cultivar have any historical/cultural significance?
• Can this cultivar produce edible food from a seed or cutting in two years or less?
• Can this cultivar cope with neglect or inconsistent maintenance?
• Does this cultivar show invasive qualities?
• Can production of this cultivar be subsidized by grants or outside investors?
• Does this cultivar have a wide variety of compatible species that it can hybridize with or be grafted to?
• Will this cultivar grow well in regions where other Anonymous enterprises are operating?
